This relaxed day trip includes round-trip transfers from Helsinki, exciting excursions, a delicious lunch, and also some free time to discover the local atmosphere at your own pace.

Discover the best of the western Helsinki region! The tour is designed with respect for the local environment and heritage.

Join us on a full-day journey through the scenic countryside of the Helsinki region. During the trip, we will visit three of the area’s most popular landmarks: Fiskars village, Raseborg castle ruins, and the picturesque wooden town of Ekenäs.

First, we will head to Fiskars Village. Once an industrial settlement where the world-famous Fiskars scissors were first produced, today it is a beloved destination known for its well-preserved industrial architecture and vibrant artisan community. The village offers a great variety of experiences, from local handmade and art shops to a brewery, restaurants, and a convincing modern art museum. Have you, for example, ever tasted an akvavit-based long drink flavored with real nettle?

Our journey will continue to Ekenäs, a cozy old town known for its charming 18th- and 19th- century wooden houses, scenic seaside views, and relaxed atmosphere. During an excursion, the guide will share stories about this bilingual town, which was established already in the 1500s. In Ekenäs, you will also have some time to explore at your own pace – browse artisan shops, walk along the picturesque seashore, or visit one of Ekenäs’ newest additions, the Chappe Museum of Modern Art.

Our last stop will be the Raseborg Castle ruins. This medieval fortress once guarded the coast. During the visit, you will learn where the surrounding sea has disappeared and hear fascinating stories about Finland’s medieval past.
