Founded in 1248, Porvoo is Finland’s second-oldest town and has played a significant role in the country’s history. Your guide will take you on a walking tour through the Old Town, where charming wooden architecture meets vibrant local life. We will also visit Porvoo Cathedral, one of Finland’s oldest churches, if it is open during our visit.
After the guided tour, guests can enjoy a couple of hours of free time to explore this atmospheric town on own pace. Visiting charming boutiques, discovering local artisans’ workshops, and tasting Porvoo’s famous chocolate and liquorice will make this fascinating day trip even more enjoyable.
